MyWinners offers a range of options for account closure and responsible self-exclusion. Whether you're stepping back temporarily or choosing to close your account for good, the process is transparent, secure, and designed to support responsible gambling.

How to Close Your Account

  • To close your account, please submit a written request including your account number, name, signature, and address to:

    • Winners Customer Service, 600 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, CT 06511.

  • Any funds in your account will be mailed to you via check upon receipt of your written request.

  • You may also contact us by Live Chat, email ([email protected]), or phone (+1 800 468 2260) for assistance, but written confirmation is required before processing.

  • Inactive accounts may be closed after six months, with remaining balances refunded in full or subject to small service charges for balances under $6.

  • You may also request permanent data deletion, depending on state-level recordkeeping regulations.

What is Self-Exclusion?

  • Self-exclusion is a voluntary agreement where you limit your access to betting platforms for a fixed period.

  • Self-exclusion options on MyWinners include 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanent exclusion.

  • Once activated, self-exclusion cannot be reversed until the selected period expires.

  • Any pending bets remain valid, but you will not be able to deposit or place new bets.

  • You’ll need to confirm your self-exclusion in writing by sending a signed letter stating the terms of your exclusion to:

    • Winners Customer Service, 600 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, CT 06511.

  • During your exclusion period, you will not be able to place bets, make deposits, or access account features.

How to Set Up a Self-Exclusion

  • Use Live Chat (bottom right of your screen), email [email protected], or call +1 800 468 2260 to request self-exclusion.

  • You’ll then need to confirm your request in writing by sending a signed letter specifying the exclusion period to:

    • Winners Customer Service, One Hamden Center, 2319 Whitney Avenue, Suite 5-a, Hamden, CT 06518

Can You Reopen a Closed or Self-Excluded Account?

  • Closed accounts: Can be reopened upon request, unless permanently banned.

  • Self-excluded accounts: Cannot be reopened until the exclusion period ends. In some states, formal reactivation may require ID checks and a cooling-off period.

💡 Did You Know? Most US states participate in shared self-exclusion databases, so excluding yourself from one operator may limit access to others—especially if you’re betting across multiple ADWs (advance-deposit wagering sites).

Once a self-exclusion is active, it cannot be reversed or reopened until the selected period has expired.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my money if I close my MyWinners account?

Your remaining balance will be mailed to you via check once your written closure request has been received and verified.

Can I reopen my MyWinners account after closing it?

You can request reinstatement after a minimum of 6 months, following a full review by our customer care team. Permanent closures or exclusions cannot be reopened.

How do I self-exclude from betting on MyWinners?

Go to the Responsible Gambling Tools section of your account or contact customer support to initiate a self-exclusion. Contact us using Live Chat in your account or via the Help Center, send an email to [email protected] or call +1 800 468 2260.

What’s the difference between account closure and self-exclusion on MyWinners?

Closure is voluntary and reversible. Self-exclusion is a regulated restriction that locks your account for a set time and cannot be undone early.

In some states, yes. Multi-operator exclusion programs allow you to register a self-ban across all licensed Advance Deposit Wagering operators in that state.
